Sam Milby Soars!

SAM Milby is now one of ABS-CBN’s hottest properties. After the success of his debut flick, "Close to You," he’s now all set to start another one plus a new teleserye that pairs him anew with the Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd Cruz love team and with Mariel Rodriguez. His debut album with Star Records has also hit gold and he’s a favorite guest star in a lot of ABS-CBN shows. Now, he’s also an endorser for Centrum Multi-Vitamins.
"It all happened very fast," he says. "When I was doing both the movie and the album, I hardly had any sleep. Now that I’m waiting for my new projects to start, I’m taking up acting workshops and voice lessons, plus I’m trying to learn how to speak Tagalog fluently and, without an accent."
Aren’t his other housemates in "Pinoy Big Brother" envious of him? He’s the last one to enter Kuya’s house and now, he’s the busiest among them. "We’re all happy for each other. They also have their own shows, like ‘Gudtaym.’ Franzen also has a movie, ‘D’ Lucky Ones.’ I taped some episodes of ‘Gudtaym’ but I’m having a hard time coping with my co-stars since most of it is mainly adlib and they do it in Tagalog kaya hirap ako."
It’s said that Luis Manzano is jealous of him since they’re both wooing Toni Gonzaga and she is more partial to him. "I don’t think Luis is jealous. We’re OK and he’s a very nice guy. It’s not a competition naman as I’m not really wooing Toni who I don’t even get to see that much."
Why did he agree to endorse Centrum Multi-Vitamins? "Because it’s complete from A to Zinc and a person like me who’s always on the go needs it to cope with the stress and pressures of my job. It makes me complete."
